Juan, who is a PhD in the Department of Engineering Sciences, told us why he is running for the position of Events and Activities coordinator Grimstad campus on the UiAdoc board.
'I would be happy to keep the good work of the current UiADoc board and implement new ideas to support my fellow members. Apart from organising events and building bridges between GRS and KRS fellows, promoting the name of UiADoc as the formal representation of PhD and postdoc researchers at UiA is something I would encourage. Currently, I am member of the PhD Education Committee in Natural Sciences (PECNAT) at UiA, I also have previous experience organising academic and social events in my former University.'
