Saga Pardede - candidate for the position of Events and activities coordinator at UiAdoc

Today UiAdoc has its third General Assembly. Saga, who is a PhD in the Faculty of Health and Sports, told us why he is running for the position of Events and activities coordinator

in the UiAdoc board.

"Hi again !

I am Saga and for the past year I have been taking the role as Events and Activities Coordinator, and what a year 2020 it has been for all of us during the pandemic. I would just like to say thank you for everyone who has been involved in supporting and participated in past events that we were restricted to. But let us hope this year will be different.

I have decided to once again run for the Events and Activities Coordinator position as I feel that during the previous year, we’ve been able to make good connections with the PhDs and Postdocs and serve you all. For example, by organising ‘Friday After Work ‘night with games, the ‘Active Weekend’ of bouldering in Kristiansand, ‘The Panel discussion’ on the pandemic effects PhDs and Postdocs undergoes, and with the recent ‘Meet the PhDs’ Instagram series.

For that reason, I would like to continue my work with all those involved and get more out this new year and new horizon out of the pandemic.

I look forward to continue working with both new and former board members !"
